Community for Rainbow Dads and Their Families
Rainbow Dads Victoria is a volunteer-run community that brings together rainbow dads, prospective dads and their families from across Victoria. Since 2016, the organisation has created opportunities for connection, friendship and mutual support, helping families build lasting relationships with others who share similar experiences of parenting and family life.
Run by the community, for the community, Rainbow Dads Victoria welcomes families of all backgrounds and pathways to parenthood, including adoption, foster care, donor conception, surrogacy and co-parenting. Throughout the year, the group hosts regular family-friendly events such as park playdates, picnics, camping weekends, holiday celebrations and social gatherings, giving children the opportunity to grow up surrounded by other families like their own while parents build supportive networks.
Free to join and driven by the people who participate, Rainbow Dads Victoria is built on the belief that community matters. Whether you’re planning to become a parent, raising young children or navigating family life with older kids, the group offers a welcoming space where rainbow dads can connect, share experiences and celebrate the diversity of LGBTQIA+ families together.
