Pride in Place – Safe Housing Support for LGBTQIA+ People

Pride in Place is a specialist housing and homelessness service supporting LGBTQIA+ people, couples and families across Victoria who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, or living in housing that is unsafe, insecure or unaffordable. The service provides affirming, person-centred support that recognises the unique challenges LGBTQIA+ communities can face when accessing housing and homelessness services.
Operating across the Hume–Merri-bek, Inner Western Metro, Outer Eastern Metro and Central Highlands regions, Pride in Place offers early intervention, comprehensive assessments, case management, peer navigation and service coordination to help people find safe, sustainable housing. Support may include safety planning, assistance navigating the housing system, referrals to health, mental health and community services, and connections to other practical supports that promote long-term wellbeing.
Pride in Place works collaboratively with each person to understand their goals and circumstances, meeting them in places where they feel safe and respected. Whether you’re experiencing a housing crisis, struggling to maintain your tenancy or seeking more stable accommodation, the service provides compassionate, inclusive support to help you move towards safe, secure and sustainable housing.
