QFamily – Drummond Street Services
QFamily is a specialist support service for LGBTIQA+ parents, carers, prospective parents and rainbow families at every stage of family life. Part of Drummond Street Services and Queerspace, QFamily provides inclusive, affirming and family-centred support designed to strengthen wellbeing, relationships and connection across the whole family. Their approach is grounded in social justice and recognises the diverse experiences, identities and strengths of rainbow families.
Whether you’re planning to start a family, expecting a baby, adjusting to early parenthood or navigating the changing needs of family life, QFamily offers flexible, low or no-cost support tailored to your circumstances. Services include family planning and transition-to-parenthood support, parenting coaching, individual counselling, relationship support for couples and co-parents, whole-of-family wellbeing support, and guidance to strengthen early attachment and understand your baby’s cues.
Support is delivered by LGBTQIA+ identifying practitioners who understand the lived experiences of rainbow families and provide care that reflects your family’s values, identities and structure. Appointments are available in person, online and, in some cases, at home or in community settings, making it easier for families across Victoria to access the support they need.
