Queerspace Youth – Drummond Street Services
Queerspace Youth is a free, peer-led program from Drummond Street Services designed for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 16–25, including those who are queer, trans, intersex, gender diverse or questioning their identity. The program provides a welcoming, affirming space where young people can connect with others who share similar experiences, build friendships and access support in a safe, inclusive environment.
Through twice-weekly peer support groups and a calendar of social, creative and educational activities, Queerspace Youth helps young people strengthen their wellbeing, confidence and sense of belonging. Activities include mental health and sexual health workshops, movie nights, art and music sessions, community events and skill-building opportunities that support personal growth, resilience and connection.
The program is led by peer facilitators with lived experience, creating opportunities for young people to explore their identities, share experiences and build supportive community networks. Whether you’re looking for social connection, practical support or simply a place where you can be yourself, Queerspace Youth offers an affirming community where every young person is welcomed, respected and celebrated.
